Looking for a VP Engineering for a startup in Silicon Valley building network security line of vpn/firewall products. Looking for someone who has released several products successfully in the networking space. Prefer someone with experience in networking or security systems level products (not services)development. We need a LEADER, someone to manage multiple teams in hardware, software product development and QA for integrated software security products. You will also interface with customers and help form partnerships, notice customer use patterns and represent this company at standards forums. Must have a BSEE/CS or prefer MSEE/CS plus at least 15 years solid development experience including a minimum of 8 years in management. Startup experience preferred but not required.
