In this position, you will work with the sales organization of a well 
funded, hot security start-up You will be involved with customer meetings 
in the areas of qualification, solution and proposal development. You will 
present technical product overviews, identify professional service 
opportunities, assist in determining technical requirements, and act as a 
liaison between the sales organization and customer. 

You will work primarily with enterprise and Federal accounts. Also work 
with OEM/Channel sales to overcome any technical hurdles and expedite 
sales closures. You will build and maintain business relationships with 
key customer technical contacts and identify upgrade opportunities. 

Qualifications: 

�5+ years of Security Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Systems 
Engineering with a proven ability to work on a sales team and provide 
technical leadership. 
�Through knowledge and understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection, 
penetration testing and network security policy definition. 
�Through knowledge and understanding of public domain and open source 
exploit applications as pertains but not limited to the aforementioned 
technologies. 
�Through knowledge and understanding of the IP communication protocol 
suite. 
�Through knowledge and understanding of remote access solutions, including 
but not limited to VPN technologies. 
�Through knowledge and understanding of the following operating systems;  
WinNT/2000, Win9x, Linux and Sun Solaris. 
�Software solution and relationship selling skills. 
�Good personal computer skills including MSOffice suite, MSBackOffice and 
Visio. 
�Strong active listening skills. 
�Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
�Strong presentation skills.
