We are looking for Senior/Intermediate Software Developers who are determined to develop and bring superior solutions to market. In particular these people will work on the Symantec's DeepSight TMS product. The worlds only globally deployed early warning system for network based attacks.
Ideal candidates will hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or have a minimum of five years experience as a software developer. These are full-time salaried positions. Required Skills: Computer Science degree 5+ years of recent C++ coding experience Software development experience in C and C++ Experience Programming with Windows platforms Strong background in SQL with production systems Experience with the .NET framework or Web Services Experience with delivering customized software applications A track record of successful interaction with customers Experience with all aspects of the software development life-cycle, including requirements specifications, design, implementation and quality assurance Knowledge of general testing procedures and methodologies Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Firewall and IDS Working knowledge of network programming Working knowledge of network protocols such as BGP Responsibilities: Completion of testing activities within project deadlines with a high degree of confidence and quality Experience in automated testing Ability to write test code Ability to write test plans from software requirements and use cases Strong organizational skills Results driven Excellent verbal and written communication skills We will NOT be taking candidates who require relocation nor will this engagement be tendered to head hunters.
