Description of Duties:
Provide systems engineering expertise, technical advisory support and 
engineering analysis to assist with development and acquisition of current 
and next generation collection, processing, analysis and dissemination 
systems in the Signals Intelligence and Unified Crypto logic domains. 
Assess current operational needs of users and customers and assist with 
the development of the vision for the futures Signals Intelligence 
enterprise and supporting architecture. Consider methods to extend and/or 
adapt legacy systems to meet future needs. Identify interoperability 
problems with data collection and processing systems(both current and 
planned). Develop interface concepts that facilitate data sharing among 
users, analysts and systems. Identify current and emerging technologies 
that could be applied to augment interoperability. Lead or participate in 
Systems Engineering working groups within the Signals Intelligence 
infrastructure(such as requirements analysis, integration engineering, 
interface definition, concept development and test & evaluation ). 
Interact with multiple development and processing organizational units 
within the signals intelligence hierarchy to apply consistent system 
engineering methodology throughout the signals. Assist with technical 
decision support by providing analysis of alternative, trades studies and 
technology assessment to increase return on investment and the likelihood 
of value added development. Assist the customer in the application of 
sound system engineering discipline and practices during the development 
and implementation of new systems and the extension of legacy systems for 
the desired enterprise. 

Skills/Experience:

Required: US Citizen, BS degree in EE, Computer Science, Physics or a 
related field, with concentration in data acquisition, processing, 
exploitation and reporting. Minimum of 7- 10 years of applicable 
experience. Ability to work with complex distribute and heterogeneous 
systems. Excellent written, briefing and interpersonal communications 
skills. Familiarity with system engineering methods and tools for system 
visualization and architecture assessment Ability to work as a member of 
team with minimum supervision. Current SSBI. 

Desired: BS or MS in above disciplines or System Engineering with 10+ year 
of signal analysis experience in the DOD intelligence community. 
Experience with major systems development and system interoperability 
issues. Experience with system engineering and C4ISR architecture tools. 
Proven ability to lead government infrastructure and take on leadership 
roles in a diverse environment of contractors, government and user staff. 

Salary:  $70K-$120K
