This role will morph with each specific candidate - initially the role will be a bag 
carrier pushing sales....depending on the level of experience a candidate has this 
role will become a Federal Sales Director role within a breadth of experience time 
frame.

My client is looking for:
Solid track record - no jumpers allowed
-Presently selling into Federal DoD (Dept.of Defense)
-Candidates should have at least 5-7 yrs. BusDev experience
-Strong technical understanding of Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Data 
Networking is a plus.
-Candidates should have created OEM partnerships and Strategic Alliances with other 
large Security and Networking vendors.
 
The ideal candidate has experience within the Federal Gov't space - specifically the 
DoD and the ability to lead and drive the expansion of our clients business. The 
candidate must be a field-oriented individual, amenable to travel, with the 
credibility and stature to present to key decision-makers within the target audience.  
 Must have ability to generate "customer pull" rather than relying on the 
reseller/distributor network to develop awareness of our Clients Networks and its 
solutions. Drive, energy and excellent communication skills within a fast-paced, open, 
informal company culture are key attributes for success, plus an ability to work with 
a high degree of autonomy while communicating with HQ to develop and implement 
tactical initiatives in the DoD. This requires an individual who is knowledgeable and 
comfortable in working with all aspects of the Department of Defense.
