Major Responsibilities: Applicant will take a leadership role in the creation of industry leading security management user interfaces. In addition to engineering/development responsibilities, applicant must interact with a broad range of project stakeholders: product marketing, documentation, quality assurance, support, as well as end users. Applicant must write clean, solid, maintainable code, while contributing to the development of software development control documents and user interface designs. Position Requirements/Experience: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, plus minimum 10 years of object oriented software development experience. Position requires high level of expertise in Java/Swing in a commercial setting using pattern- based software development methodologies. Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience writing detailed software functional and design specifications. Must have experience working in a disciplined, process oriented software development team, with a history of meeting established milestones. Desirable qualities include: experience in software internationalization as well as Section 508 and EAL4 software certification. Specialized security training such as SANS, OPSEC, or CISSP certification preferred. Ability to be action-oriented; ability to work with independently and set priorities for multiple projects; strong problem solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
