The Federal Account Manager will report to the VP of Sales for this west 
coast based security start-up. The product has been shipping for over 8 
months. My client is committed to the Federal Sector and has taken the 
steps necessary to succeed in this vital market. They have begun Common 
Criteria Testing of the products and currently have a contract vehicle in 
place through an integrator partner. They have also engaged the services 
of a consulting firm to help get them their own GSA schedule.

Initially this will be a "bag carrying" position with primary focus on the 
DOD and Intelligence. Additionally, any of the homeland security agencies 
will be a target as well.

Position requires a track record of success (5-10yrs)selling to the 
Federal Government with emphasis on the DOD. Experience calling on the CIO 
level required. Must be a team player and have excellent communications 
skills. Prior experience with a start-up preferred. Experience building a 
Federal territory from scratch desired as well. Security or networking 
technology experience preferred.

Compensation will include Base Salary, Commissions and stock options as 
well as full medical benefits. $200k target @ plan.
