My specialty in systems security is web threats and protection. An
example of that knowledge can be found in the article I authored on "Web
Browser Vulberabilities 101" for the February '03 edition of ;login:
magazine. In addition, I am SSCP, Security+ and CCNA certified with UCSD
training in Computer Forensics. I have hands-on experience with Snort,
Nessus, Ettercap, Ethereal, Linux and BSD firewalls, DSniff, Tripwire,
SurfinGate, E-Safe Gateway and several other security applications. As a
developer, I have coded proprietary additions on Snort, Barnyard, Apache
and OpenSSH. My strongest coding skills are in C and Perl.
I am seeking employment in the San Diego or LA areas as an
information security analyst or security software developer. If you have
a position that might fit my skills then please see my resume at
http://www.peleus.net/CSResume.html.
thank you,
