Position Title:  Sr. Account Manager - Corporate Sales, US & Canada Region

Position Description:  The Senior Account Manager will perform in 
a "player coach" role, and will be responsible for building and managing 
his/her individual territory as well as leading a small team of sales 
professionals.

The Corporate sales organization is focused on identifying, developing and 
managing Entercept security opportunities in the F1000 and in Corporate 
Accounts ($500m-$2B).  The Organization is also responsible for drving and 
closing maintenance renewal revenues. 

Reporting to the VP-Sales, the senior account manager will manage 2 
Corporate sales professionsls an 1 SE Resource.  The Senior Account 
Manager will work closely with the Field Sales, Marketing, Technical 
Support, Training, and Professional Services Organizations

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Build and lead team of two inside sales account 
managers and one SE in FY 2003.

Prospect a georgaphic territory and qualify opportunities for named F1000 
accounts.

Identify, develop and close Corporate Accounts ($500 - 2B) business 
opportunities.

Build and manage a pipeline and continually generate new account prospects.

Conduct online sales presentations and document prospect feedback.

Meet and exceed quarterly goals.

Forcast sales activity and maintain prospect in CRM system.

Co-manage Entercept E-VAR Channel relationships and provide sales support.

Manage lead distribution to Channel Partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of five years experience in an Inside and/or Field Sales capacity

In-depth knowledge of the consultative sales methodology

Consistent success in attaining and exceeding quota, with experience in 
building significant revenue stream in an undeveloped territory.

Experience in using CRM and Forecasting Systems.

Excellent written and verbal comunications skills.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple priorities

BS/BA or equivalent experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in , or exposure to, Security software.

Experience in selling or marketing to the VP Security, CSO, Director IT.

Proven Track record of working with Channel partners.

Experience conducting web-based sales demonstrations.

Experience in developing, driving and closign contract valued at minimum 
of $15,000.
