Microsoft career. Microsoft has an immediate opening for a Paralegal to 
support the criminal compliance, security, and law enforcement outreach 
efforts of the Digital Integrity Group in Law and Corporate Affairs at 
Microsoft.

Primary responsibilities include:
Assist with implementing a framework for compliance with law enforcement 
subpoenas and other types of orders from government agencies worldwide.  
You may be called to testify in criminal trials around the country where 
Microsoft has provided evidence for a criminal investigation.
Provide support to the Corporate Security group at Microsoft responsible 
for protecting the company�s corporate network, assets, and employees.
Any at any time, the Corporate Security group investigates hacker attacks 
on the corporate network, employee misuse or misappropriation of company 
property, leaks of proprietary information, and theft on campus.  

Qualifications Should Include: Must have proficient knowledge and use of 
Internet and related functions, including traceroute, Linux, Unix, 
NSlookup, IP addressing, Internet infrastructure applications, host, 
WhoIs, IRC, FTP, WWW, P2P, and NNTP.
Knowledge and/or familiarity with Computer Crime and other online crime 
statutes, and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA)
3 years previous experience working within an ISP�s legal department 
handling compliance and security issues and/or previous experience 
working for a trade association on Internet piracy matters as a paralegal
Minimum 7 years general legal experience
paralegal certification a plus 
Successful Completion of a Background Check is required for this
