IntruVert is looking for: Security Software Engineer Position Summary Position will be involved in a variety of R&D effort in intrusion detection technologies (Signature-based and Anomaly-based attack detection and prevention) in general. The main focus, however, is on signature-based methods. Key Responsibilities/Duties � Research vulnerabilities on impact, exploitation, and detection methods � Analyze and verify exploit code, or traffic capture of attacks � Analyze application protocols and creating parsing specification for IDS � Create accurate and robust attack detection signatures � Interact with team members for the purpose of exchanging new IDS ideas and of advancing IDS technologies Minimum Education and Experience Requirements BS Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience; solid background/experience with vulnerability analysis, intrusion detection, and/or security incident response; extensive experience with UNIX environments, C/C++, and networking protocols (TCP/IP stack in particular) is required.
