DIRECTOR, IT SECURITY San Rafael, CA SUMMARY The Director, Information Systems Security will be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of information systems and technology security for the company. This individual will also be responsible for building, directing and monitoring an enterprise-wide information security program ensuring the security, integrity, privacy and availability of all information and systems.
REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. MBA desirable. A minimum of 12 years of technology industry experience demonstrating a high level of expertise in information security and a wide exposure to all aspects of information technology in a large, high transaction environment. Software industry experience highly preferred. Strong team player Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage and direct through influencing. Broad experience with information security focused technologies such as intrusion detection, firewalls, PKI, VPN's, remote computing, authentication, encryption technologies, biometrics, smart cards etc. Ability to clearly communicate complex information security concepts to multiple levels Ability to develop business case justifications in order to influence multiple levels of decision makers. Established track record of developing and driving adoption of security policies and procedures in support of business strategies. Ability to deliver against plans.
