ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for security infrastructure design and oversight of common data security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks and others.
Develop and implement wireless security solutions required to support enterprise requirements around 802.11b WLANs, wireless clients, handheld scanning devices, PDA’s, smartphones and other wireless devices.
Conducts risk assessments and risk analysis to help the organization assess level of exposure for mission and business critical systems.
Develops and implements solutions that will enhance corporation's objective to secure and guard enterprise, perimeter and overall network infrastructure.
Develops and implements secured remote access strategy as defined by Information Security, with special consideration for encryption, authentication and authorization.
Develop standards required to ensure properly applied upgrades, repairs, modifications, and replacements of information security devices or software are conducted by support organizations.
Oversee Incident Response team targeted at prevention, detection, containment and correction of security breaches.
Manage resolution of security violations surrounding any systems or networks that might be compromised.
Research and collaborate with key IT organizations required to stay abreast of corporate standards and product development impacting data security.
Work with network, application and support teams to ensure IT Security standards are incorporated into product and system life cycle.
Strive to maintain high system availability for security systems under administrative domain.
Work with vendors, IT associates, and user departments to enhance information security. Internal corporate alignments deemed critical include Corporate Security, Legal, Internal Audit and Personnel.

Sun Solaris, LINUX, Cisco IOS Checkpoint FW-1, VPN-1, SOHO, personal Scripting – Unix Shell, PERL, Java Script Encryption – PGP, PKI, IPSEC, 3DES, SSL, WEP, WTLS, etc Secure Authentication – RADIUS, Token-Based, Certificates, Smart Cards, etc Internet Protocols – SMTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, etc Internet Services - DNS, Proxy, etc
