Well-known quasi government organization in the Baltimore/DC area is looking for engineering people in the security field. The ideal candidate will be one who has worked 10 years in the I.T./Engineering world with their most recent (past 3-5 years) experience being in Information Security coming from a DoD environment or similar government organization. This person will create security architecture, devise technologies and select products to mitigate security vulnerabilities, design policies, develop high level and detailed security requirements, carry out technical evaluations of vendor programs, and make recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communciation skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently required. Candidates must possess either a BSEE or BS in Physics, Math, Computer Science, or related field. MSEE a BIG plus! Clearance not required, but highly preferred.
