Title: Senior Information Security Consultant Position Description: Designs and implements security solutions with a strong emphasis in business needs. Provides information security consulting and advice to customers in diverse vertical markets. Involved in pre-sales presentations of security services and products. This is a full time position in Puerto Rico.
Requirements: * Background in the Security Industry including consulting experience and familiarity with vendor security products * In depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols at all layers of the stack * Solid understanding of network infrastructure and architecture from the physical to the application level. * Strong background in UNIX and Windows system administration * Demonstrated skills in C, perl, sed, awk and UNIX shell development * Experience performing security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing * Hands-on experience with security processes, tools and technologies * Extensive Firewall and VPN work experience * Knowledge of Intrusion detection, Forensics and Incident Handling * Expertise in System Hardening and Security Patch Management * Familiarity with Content Filtering, Antivirus and Malware protection * Knowledge of Backup and Recovery process design, tools and implementation * Understanding of authentication, PKI and encryption concepts * Ability to create and assess security guidelines and policies * Self-managed, motivated and hard working individual with passion for securing systems * Experience in consulting for enterprise environments preferred, with the ability to identify business opportunities * Strong customer interaction and service orientation * Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills highly preferred * Willing to relocate to Puerto Rico - relocation assistance available for the right candidate * Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, GIAC, CCSE) are a plus * Authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the USA territory Company: Netxar Technologies, Inc. is a fast growing company located in San Juan Puerto Rico.
