Will work with a small team of security engineers and the larger engineering organization to:
- Design and write new software - Improve the security of existing and new code by participating in reviews and designing and writing security-related tests. - Update and fix security issues in existing software. Requirements: - Extensive experience in software development in C and C++. - Deep knowledge of operating system internals, with particular emphasis on UNIX-based OS's (Linux). - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SSL). - Experience with (modifying or coding against) OpenSSL. - Experience with (modifying or writng) other applications of cryptography. - Have designed and written security-focused code. - Experience doing security-focused design and code reviews. - Experience in developing tests for security holes. *** PRINCIPALS ONLY *** NO AGENCIES PLEASE **** This position is based in Redwood City, California.
