I am currently based in the United States but my job search is entirely
focused on Europe. Being a British citizen, it is my intention to return
there to complete my career. I understand that many employers may find the
prospect of a US-based candidate a little daunting and so I suggest this
strategy. Employers, I presume, will screen candidates with telephone
interviews at first (and, if that is not their intention perhaps they
might consider it in this case) and so can talk with me on the phone.
Where a mutual interest has been established, I am happy to travel to
Europe for interviews.

In my resume - which I will send on request - you will see that I have
twenty years' experience in information security - with a solid grounding
gained in financial services organisations and a very successful period in
consultancy. I have led two corporate business continuity and information
security efforts and have had responsibility for two information security
consultancy practices.

In consultancy I have enjoyed success leading clients to establishing an
effective information security architecture - many times having to deal
with a senior management group who start out less than enthusiastic about
the effort. I am my company's subject matter expert on information
security policies and teach policy writing and implementation (as well as
a number of other information security-related subjects.)

I am very experienced in delivering information security as a business-
enabler (believing that successful information security programs can only
be built on the business need for them) and have co-authored books on a
variety of security-related subjects.
