Duties:
This is an intermediate-level professional Lab Engineer position. Job responsibilities will include: Deploy, support and maintain a variety of hardware for the development of security software. Respond to support requests from software developers for both hardware and software needs. Work quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations to deliver specialized test and network environments. Requirements: The candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years system administration experience and some experience in most of the following: Operating Systems: Solaris 2.6-8; HPUX 10 and 11; Windows 2000, NT, XP; AIX Hardware: Sun Microsystems Ultra and Enterprise-class machines; HP J-class machines; Compaq ProLiant DL-series Intel platform servers; Dell PowerEdge servers; Standard PC-compatible desktop and server machines. Network engineering skills with Cisco hardware a plus. Experience in remote computing tools such as Terminal Server, PCAnywhere, VNC.... a plus. Ability to work under tight schedules, learn new operating systems and hardware quickly. Ability to manage time and prioritize requests from multiple users. Interest in host based intrusion detection a plus.
