THE ROLE: A unique opportunity where the successful candidate will be responsible for developing overall security strategy on the technical and operations side, including architecture, security policy and procedures, risk analysis and general security consultancy for this leading B2B Internet Exchange and its global client base. This role will involve some Global travel. THE CANDIDATE: An experienced Security Architect or Technical Architect with at least 6 years experience and 4 years ++ specific and proven security architecture / consulting experience. The ability to discuss and present technical solutions to non-technical managers / clients is essential. You must have a proven background in delivering work that is on deadline & 'right first time'; exp. of building lasting relationships with internal and external partners; not be constrained by hierarchy; be prepared to challenge and be a flexible team member. TECHNICAL SKILLS: LDAP, single sign-on, PKI, certification authorities, firewalls, viruses, smart cards, intrusion detection, building enterprise wide security architectures. Insurance industry or experience with Baltimore's technologies such as UniCERT or SelectAccess a distinct advantage but not essential.
