UNIX SECURITY SPECIALIST Experience/expertise in: Multi-flavor Unix experience i.e. SUN, HP/Compaq, IBM etc. � Remote Administration of large Enterprise level(50+) or geographical spread out, server environment. Experience/knowledge of: � Secured Shell (SSH) � Shell Scripting (POSIX, Korn, Bourne) � Trusted Computing Base (TCB) � Hardening SUN, HP, Compaq, AIX servers � Convey Unix skills to individuals with limited Unix knowledge Interface with business partners to: a. Understand their security needs. b. Design, develop or recommend secure UNIX solution. c. Implement and support solution. And other duties as assigned. Understanding of: � Industry Security Standards � Unix security best practices � Problem and change management practices This position also requires the following: � Strong commitment to customer service. � Excellent verbal and written communications skills. � Technical documentation writing skills. � Superior problem solving skills. � Ability to work effectively within a team environment. � Ability to work with individuals at all skill and knowledge levels. � Ability to re-prioritize tasks as necessary.
