Requirements: � Minimum 8 years of experience and schooling in enterprise networking. � Experience in network design utilizing routing, switching, and other network technologies in a multi-protocol environment. � Minimum 4 years work experience in network security, or equivalent knowledge. � Minimum 2 years work experience with UNIX operating systems, or equivalent knowledge. � Minimum 2 years work experience with Windows NT or 2000 operating systems, or equivalent knowledge. � Strong understanding of security control requirements for a variety of distributed systems, especially NT and UNIX (SCO, Solaris, Linux) � Strong understanding of Security Best Practices and Procedures. � Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be knowledgeable about industry direction and emerging security standards, especially those concerning public key infrastructure, virtual private networks, and global networking. � Experience managing all aspects of one or more of the following firewalls in a production environment such as: CheckPoint, Raptor, and PIX. � Experience maintaining IPSec VPNs. � Experience developing security policies and procedures. � Experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches. � Working knowledge of distributed systems technology, client/server application design and e-business issues. � Working knowledge of risk assessment procedures. � CISSP, GIAC, CCIE, CCSP certifications.
