THE BASICS:
This person is responsible for the delivery of vulnerability remediation content included in the client's flagship product. Remediation content is developed using proprietary software by the members of the signature team. This team currently consists of 10 people. The director will be responsible for continuous implementation, management and improvement of process and quality of content being delivered, as well as the continuous development and forecasting of resources required to deliver work product. Heavy interface with product development, QA and product management to ensure on-time and quality deliver of signature content.
This is an operational management position responsible for execution, visibility and predictability in delivering security content. Maintains and reports metrics for the team. Creates and owns project master schedule. Responsible for on-going communication with all internal and external teams. Manages the overall delivery process of remediation signatures and updates. Ability to translate priorities and expectations between QA, product development and upper management is a key skill.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (preferably BSCS or similar) or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated management experience of security research teams of 10 or more people.
Previous work experience within the lifecycle of a security software product.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
