Role: Channel Sales Manager
Based: Munich
Salary: €120K OTE

Reporting to the Director of Channel Sales for EMEA you will be
responsible for defining and implementing an effective channel strategy
within Germany as well as managing a team of people.  

Primary Duties
?         Specify and manage the implementation of  all indirect sales
programmes.
?         Manage remote and local channel sales managers.
?         Co-ordinate and develop the Reseller Program, ensuring that
the program meets channel, business and market requirements.
?         Assist in the identification of new channel partners and
advise on the appropriate channel mix.
?         Work closely with the resellers in order to ensure the best
possible leverage between their action and the direct touch team.
?         Create a strategy to attract new partners 
?         Manage terms and conditions, channel pricing and discount
structure.
?         Identify and provide input on the development of appropriate
tools and procedures.
?         Identify and drive appropriate programmes for the channel to
motivate closer alignment with the company.
?         Deliver company strategic directions, communicating this and
ensuring that the channels are capable and confident in promoting these
directions to their customers.
?         Establish and drive appropriate channel training and update
programmes to ensure all levels of the partners base are updated on new
products across all business units.
?         Implement and drive measurement programmes targeted at
measuring partner satisfaction levels, instigating independent surveys
and ensuring independent surveys and ensuring that the company acts upon
the results.
?         Develop good working relationship with European Channel and
marketing Colleagues as well as field sales personnel.
?         Will manage a team of 5 Channel Account Managers in Germany
  
Experience
?           Several years of channel sales/marketing management
experience within a channel oriented information security company
(preferably software).
?           Experience of designing and operating channel accreditation
programmes integrating full business strategy.
?           Action oriented with the ability to produce initiatives
quickly to ensure the company's competitiveness in a fast moving market.
?           A proven experience in doing business in Germany is
required.
