Duties:

The Information Security Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a 
team of individual engineers as well as medium-size projects of average to 
medium complexity, coordinating project activities to ensure the timely 
development and delivery of reliable and efficient security solutions to 
business requirements, managing to scheduled deadlines. This position 
regularly leads teams of two (2) to ten (10) individuals and works 
independently, with supervision required on complex issues.

Responsibilities include : Implementation and management of security 
education and awareness programs, security engineering, policy and 
practice development, enforcement and audit compliance.

- Customer Service
Communicates regularly with client and members of other IT groups 
(Production Control, Applications Development, Network Services, etc.) on 
project status, planned work and user involvement required. Establishes 
effective working relationships with other managers, subordinates, peers, 
other departments and clients. Prepares periodic IT project status reports 
and submit for central publication to all IT clients in a timely and 
effective manner.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems with emphasis on 
Information Security, design of secure applications, education/awareness 
and audit compliance.
- 3 to5 years of Information Security experience; or an equivalent 
combination of education and work experience
- PC and desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, 
Microsoft Project, email, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of project planning and management concepts, 
methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures
- Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
- Strong business knowledge
- Working knowledge of information security concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good conflict resolution and negotiating skills 
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Candidate should possess knowledge of network architecture and 
protocols.
