Options Job Type: Permanent Relocation: May put small sign-on in place to defray costs ($5,000) Description: The Director of Information Technology Security will plan, implement, and coordinate Information Security Activities for Teva Pharmaceuticals North America. Additionally responsible for envisioning and implementing the controls needed to protect both corporate information and information that has been entrusted to Teva by third parties. Requirements: Candidates must be US Citizen or have green card. Create a strategic information security plan with a vision for the future of information security within Teva North America. Identify ways that information security related technologies and processes can be used to achieve the company's strategic plans/goals. Develop action plans, scheduled, budgets, status reports, and other top management communications to improve the status of information security. Provide overall leadership for information security, the information handling technology employed, and the personnel involved (employees, vendors, contractors, consultants, and outsourcing firms). Serve as functional head for all staff with responsibilities for information systems security. Support the CIO in applying global security policies and standards. Formulate and implement a strategy to respond to incidents; including developing and leading an incident response team, declaring incidents, assisting in the recovery from attacks, implementing contingency plans and managing a contingency planning group, and coordinating with law enforcement agencies to pursue violation prosecution. Perform periodic risk assessments that identify current and future security vulnerabilities, determine what level of risk is acceptable to management, and identify the best ways to reduce information security risks to this acceptable level. Manage information security audits, reviews, investigations, and vulnerability assessment programs globally. Evaluate security tools and technologies that will improve network and systems security. Manage the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Information Security Education and Awareness- Training Program. A degree is absolutely required, preferably in Computer Sciences or Accounting.
