Category: General Group: Sedna (current) Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 7 Private: No Submitted By: ruvim (ruv) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: ERROR: cannot obtain sector size Initial Comment: Sedna fails to crating database when data directory located through junction point. SEDNA Message: FATAL ERROR in process [2652] \app\srv\sedna\bin\se_cdb.exe ttt System error. This error means system malfunction. Details: lfs error: cannot obtain sector size ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ivan Shcheklein (shcheklein) Date: 2009-03-10 17:08 Message: Fixed: sedna_data value must contain an absolute path. Fixed: "cannot obtain sector size" error changed to be warning (whis should be enough for absolutely most modern devices). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ivan Shcheklein (shcheklein) Date: 2009-03-03 00:52 Message: Sedna expects absolute path at the moment. Are you sure you need to use the relative one? (In Russian) Можем обсудить эту проблему на русском через modis at ispras.ru. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: ruvim (ruv) Date: 2009-03-02 16:40 Message: According to my last research, this error doesn't relates with the junction points. The error only appears when the path is specified relatively to a root directory. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: ruvim (ruv) Date: 2009-03-02 16:22 Message: Hello! Please, let me know if you don't understand Russian ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ivan Shcheklein (shcheklein) Date: 2009-02-27 20:30 Message: I doesn't have much experience on NTFS features like junctions, mount points, etc. Could you explain me why do you use relative path in the sedna_data value? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ivan Shcheklein (shcheklein) Date: 2009-02-24 12:34 Message: Thank you for bug report! We will try to reproduce the issue and fix it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=713730&aid=2632824&group_id=129076 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Got Input?
