Documents in collections share all data structures - schema nodes, data
blocks, etc. So, you can get statistics for the whole collection.
Though, probably, you are right and it make sense to retrieve statics for
distinct documents within a collection. Feel free, to add feature request
at our sourceforge page.

No, it's not possible now. Again, you can add feature request. Please,
describe also where and why do you need this.
BTW, it can be implemented as a special document with timestamps. Though,
you will need to update that manually.
