It seems I've misread the question initially. As far as I remember, Sedna supports XPath 2.0 & XQuery 1.0. I meant that we will not support XPath 3.0 & XQuery 2.0 because they are redundant and much more complicated.
At the same time we have no resources to develop Sedna - we are working at it in the mode of 'bug fixes on request' Best regards, Oleg Borisenko, Sedna Team On Sat, Sep 5, 2015 at 10:25 PM, PeterAnd Tricia <peterandtr...@hotmail.com> wrote: > > Thank you for the reply, is there a technical reason (i.e XPath2.0 can be > achieved in other ways) or is it a question of resources? > > > Peter > > ------------------------------ > *From:* Олег Борисенко <a...@somestuff.ru> > *Sent:* Saturday, September 5, 2015 8:32 PM > *To:* PeterAnd Tricia > *Cc:* sedna-discussion@lists.sourceforge.net > *Subject:* Re: [Sedna-discussion] XPath2 functions > > Most likely XPath2.0 will not be implemented in Sedna (ever). > > Best regards, > Oleg Borisenko, Sedna Team > > On Sat, Sep 5, 2015 at 11:22 AM, PeterAnd Tricia < > peterandtr...@hotmail.com> wrote: > >> Hi all, the documentation I have and the examples I have tried would >> suggest there is no support yet for XPath2.0 functions, e.g previous-day, >> next-day ... >> >> >> The XPath1.0 functions I have tried work great btw.
