A clue. :-)
Okay, I suspect you already have an image file and you just named it
with the wrong extension.
Rename the file egypt.gif and see if it will open into either your
browser or an image display program.
If not, rename the file egypt.jpg and try and open it.
Meanwhile, I wrote you to send the file to me by e-mail attachment.
