This morning I read in the latest issue of the Searchengine Watch
newsletter that people using the WWW are spending most of their time
searching for things. A certain percentage of people say they usually
find what they are looking for, but at the same time, a significant
percentage of people have difficulty finding the information to which
they seek. Learning to use search engines to find information is a
practiced art and many are not yet that practiced at finding
information in the Internet.
That is where we come in. We are here to help anyone in need, to find
the information to which they were searching. So then if you were
searching for something and was unable to located a site or sites that
gave you the information, then we encourage you to let some of us help
you find that information.
In some cases we will point you to the right spot; in other cases we
will give you a lead - a gentle nudge in the right direction.
So then, the way this list works is that one subscriber will post a
question for something in the Internet to which they seek and other
subscribers, hopefully, will try to help them by finding the
information.
Our list is archived at The Mail Archive. If you would like to read
some past postings to get an idea of the type of questions and answers
we field, please feel free to visit that site:

Welcome to the list, Snow. :-)
