normocephalic (with just one "L" instead of two L's) will pull up
countless hits on various search engines.

Picking one at random:

Normocephalic

Your doc might be using that term to mean "normally shaped", i.e. not
dysmorphic. So just large, but normal in shape. Since
many genetic neurological diseases have abnormal head shape as an
indicator, this is important and good news.

My understanding is the macrocephly means above the 98% level, so this one
is borderline anyway. Like the other poster said,
could also be familial.

Hope this helps,
