Hi Laura,
I had some luck doing a "Direct Cable Connection" when I wanted to
transfer files from my old computer to the new one.
Go to >Start >Help and then type in "direct cable connection", there
are several articles there regarding this.
Two things: you'll need a cable to go from one computer to another -
one of the articles deals with this, telling you which kind, etc. I just
picked one up from Best Buy, but I'm sure any computer store would
handle these.
The other thing is, you need to "name" the computers - different
names, of course. You do this by going into >Control Panel
>Network and select the Identification tab. I was real original. <g>
In the "computer name" field, I put "Joyce I" in one and "Joyce II" in
the other.
Good luck!!
Joyce
