Hiya! Ya probably don't wanna hear this but most etymologies originate with, or are
associated with, other language prefixes and suffixes such as Latin, Greek, French,
Arabic, Middle English, Old English, etc.. Then we alter, add or remove letters to
make it a smidge different. It's a linguistics thing!
I did find a site that lists all the world laguages individually, and has some
references as to origins. check it out

Odd enough, my personal dictionary even gave other origins for TIBET (for example)
I did find a site that SAID it dealt with Country Name Origins, but it, in fact did
