I have Napster. Napster isn't dangerous in itself, but some of its users can
potentially be, just by the mere nature of Napster's Physiology. By that I mean: when
you are connected to Napster, you open up a file on your computer for all 300,000 of
the users of Napster to search in for music. For example, when you initially set your
Napster preferences, you order it to allow retrieval from a folder that is loaded with
music (typical). However I set the preferences to allow users to "see" that I have no
music in that folder cause I have moved the music to a dummy folder. Suggestions: I
suggest you use the latter option. Also, allow only one download (from Napster to your
HD) at a time. Next, if you do plan on sharing your music, allow only one Upload (From
your computer to another Napster user) at a time.
I have a firewall, but I turn off the firewall. Actually I rarely use it unless I'm at
work or I leave the house while the system is on.
What's the name of your firwall, and do you have access to it's on/off feature?
(Meaning, is it your computer or works?)

I have just downloaded a program called napster which I had been recommended
