I've been using MSN Calendar and I am extremely pleased with it.

Really, now, the only feature I am using is the e-mail reminders
feature. I make a note to myself and MSN Calendar sends it to me by
e-mail on the date that I specify. However, besides the reminder
service, there are many more calendar services you can use at this site.
If you already have a Hotmail account, signup will be very brief.
Otherwise you will need to register with MSN.

Here is another reminder service I reported to NetSites a short while
ago:
Candor's Birthday and Anniversary Reminder Service

Don't let the name fool you. The service is so flexible you can use it
for practically any type reminder.
