Thanks!  After I opened Win Media Player menu, and played around there, and then 
played around with the WinAMp Agent, and chose only streaming file extension, and 
blinked twice, and rebooted, all was back to normal.

Alan, why do makers of audio programs do that crap? Why do they make it so the 
average+ user has to perform aggressive reconfigurations to return their file 
extension to the way it was BEFORE they DLd that maker's program?  It turns me off to 
that program BIG TIME!  It's sneaky, and underhanded, and makes me NEVER wanna use it 
again.   Odd thing is, that WinAMp KNOWS the situation exists!  They have one whole 
page of FAQ on it!   Sad sad sad!   :o(
