Another site with lots of holidays (including some you've never heard of) is
www.bluemountainarts.com - ok, they provide e-cards, but you can look at the holidays
listed there.

I'll just lead you to Yahoo's Holiday page and you can visit some of
the sites listed there. For example, the "Encyclopedia of Days" site
seemed to be pretty thorough to me.
