[SaF] Texas Heroes

Hello, all you seeknfind gurus!

I'm trying to put together a list of Texas heroes.  So far, I've come up
via web searches with the expected:  Stephen F. Austin, James Bowie,
Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, O. Henry Porter, Barbara Jordan... but I'd
like for the list of 10 or 12 to span time and reflect more than just
battle heroes... for example, someone in the arts, etc.

Suggestions?
