Hi Tim,

you could also try Optix, it is free and has a button to free ram in OptiLaunch (you 
can decide if you want Normal ~1/4 or Maximum).
It can do some other things too:
-- in OptiLaunch you can see how much ram programs that are running take and
-- in OptiStartUp you can see the programs that Windows starts when it is booting.
