The obvious answer is to suggest to her that she consult the excellent
Help file that comes with the program by simply selecting:
Help | Contents
...at the top menu.
And besides Contents, you friend might wish to read the Hints and Tips
and the Frequently Asked Questions that is resident with the Help file.
Since your friend is an AOL'er, she is probably interested in learning
how to decode AOL e-mail attachments. The FAQ at the WinZip site
addresses this question:

Other than that, have your friend open the Help file as I noted above,
and then she can click the Index Tab and the words American Online and
AOL will appear in the Help Index of topics. She can select those two
topics and WinZip will help her with problems specific to AOL.
