No, Callwave enables you to take calls while online, using any
telephone-service company's call-forwarding feature.  It is an
:adware: product, which is a significant issue in and of itself.

We use that here, altho I am starting to think it's causing
problems with our machine.

The situation I described was: Person A (whoever) is using the
line for a voice call, perhaps in an area nowhere(s) near the
PC, and Person B at the PC wonders why (for example) Juno is
telling him "Juno cannot detect a dial tone..." et al.
