Recently, I ran into an immigrant who has a very talented son who, because of economic circumstances, remained with his grandmother in his native country. The son apparently has a good deal of talent in both mathematics and computer science, and would like to find an opportunity to work in the computer industry in the US (preferably West Coast/Northwest if possible) as a summer intern. How does a student go about finding out about such programs? I'm asking as a favor to the father, and will forward answers to him. Having no children myself, I don't have a clue where to look, so any and all clues are most welcome. Thanks. Emily
