PS: I have also been trying to find how they make apple butter

According to www.dictionary.com, apple juice is "bottled juice of apples."
Apple cider (look up just "cider" and not "apple cider") is juice that is
pressed from apples and is often used to make vinegar and alcoholic beverages.
Apple butter is "a sauce made of apples stewed down in cider."

Hope this helps!

Andrew
