Last night when I opened Eudora, there was a window announcing version 5 was ready. As a paid subscriber I downloaded and installed it. That was a mistake. I had to pay for the upgrade or suffer advertisements. No problem, I paid. But my replies to mail showed up without my comments. I contacted Tech support. They acknowledge that it is a problem, and they have not yet devised a fix. Soooooo don't download Eudora 5 when it offers itself.
