Hi S&F members, I have the following problem:
I own a US Robotics modem -Sportster MessagePlus- in my PC, under Win2k
Professional it is recognizaed and installed as Sportster MessagePlus X2 PnP,
and in other PC, under Win98 it is recognizaed and installed the same way... but
in a third PC -a Win98 one- it is NOT recognized at all (I even reinstall
Windows98), ok, I install Win2k Professional in this machine and same thing
happens, other modems -Multitech, Zyxel Omni 56k and Zyxel Comet 3356- I try in
this PC works very well, I am dazzed!!
I wonder if I can find a site(s) where I can download (by e-mail methods) some
driver(s) to make this modem work on this rebel PC. Or maybe the true rebel is
the modem?
