[SaF] Windows update

I went to windows, last night, and updated some 
of the programs from Microsoft.  Now I am having
problems with my computer.  When I turn it on it
comes on in safe mode.  I figured out how to get
past that but everything on my screen is huge.
I've tried to change the display settings but it won't
take.  

I went to msconfig and changed some things in 
there and everything seemed to go back to normal
but I can't get online.  I don't know what else to do.
Please, help!!!
