My mother, and other women she knows, are into these "Word Finder" paperbacks they have in *AWL* the major chain stores. You know, find the words hidden in an X-by-Y grid of letters, 24 pages or more full of 'em. Well, mother came to me a few days ago and said she wanted to get a "Number Finder" book. Apparently in much the same vein, 'cept what you're trying to find are numbers, or more correct- ly, strings of specific digits. Says she wants to give it to a longtime woman friend for her birthday, around Thanksgiving. "Ooooookay..." The local chains (CVS, RiteAid, the Marts, et al.) have so far been of minimal help. I was planning to visit the New York City area over the weekend, a place where the hard-to-find in terms of printed materials could be found. Any ideas? -- BOB
