LSD aka d-lysergic acid diethylamide is a hallucinogen, where as Caffeine, 
also an acid,  is a stimulant. Both are acids, however and are activated at 
the same benzodiazepine receptor sites in the  brain.

Benzodiazepines affect mood and "feel good" states.
