Hello...
In the medical profession, we use bag balm on chemotherapy and 
radiationtherapy patient's skin. Some of these therapies can cause aweful 
sores and the active ingredient in Bag Balm (and in a cream called Udderly 
Smooth) helps to protect the underlying new skin to keep it from drying out 
before it can be revealed.

RE:   I have a friend who is looking for information on 8-hydroxy-quinoline 
sulfate.  It is also called 8-HQS...and it is the active ingredient in Bag 
Balm .    She'd like to know what it does, if it has a common name and 
anything more about it.
