although this isn't a software answer here's a tip on how to
GET those auctions you want (for the most part)....
have 2 or 3 windows open on the SAME item.
in one have your name and password part already filled in
along with the MAX you will go on the item and do NOT
hit enter until the last moment...
in the other window or two keep hitting your web browsers
REFRESH key and watch the time clicking down... when it
gets to 10 seconds till auction closes hit the ENTER button
on the window holding that bid ready to go...
then pop over to one of the other windows and hit refresh and
see your fresh new down to the wire bid WON BID with
your name and see the final amount it took to close it off...
it's fun to watch your name TAKE it at the last moment...
just be sure that you have in the MAX you would have
been willing to pay... you won't have time to go back a nudge it
upwards... and note --- it won't automatically TAKE (use) the
full amount you offer UNLESS it was necessary for you
to win it...
it won't work 100% of the time ... but...
in my situations it has worked for me at least 95% of the time...
good luck... have fun...
keep in mind that many of the BIG auction services
probably have some sort of ban in their AUP that prohibits
the use of the type software you seek and there may be something in
the auction services program that would alert them to your
attempt to USE such a piece of software ... which may
result in them banning you from using their services...
I don't know this for a fact... but I bet it's probably
already in place..
I've never tried the reserve bid option...
have you ? I'm not sure if that would work in your
situation or not...
I'd be curious to know off list whether or not you find the
software you seek... how it works... if you are pleased with it ?
good luck...
